Anutin Charnvirakul considers adding a third coalition partner

Thai Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul has stated that he is not ruling out the possibility of adding a third party to the current government coalition. He emphasized that any such decision must prioritize the interests of the country and its citizens rather than being used to suppress political opponents.

Addressing rumors regarding potential cooperation with the Kla Tham Party, Anutin noted that while anything is possible in politics, any expansion must ensure government stability and the ability to implement policies effectively. He stressed that the decision would depend on various factors, including the necessity of the cooperation, mutual understanding, and the potential for the new partner to contribute to the government's work.

Regarding the upcoming no-confidence debate, Anutin declined to speculate whether a vote of confidence from the Kla Tham Party would signal a move toward joining the coalition, stating that such political developments should be evaluated as they occur.
