Thailand holds 100-day memorial ceremonies for Princess Bajrakitiyabha

Various religious and state ceremonies were held across Thailand to mark the 100-day memorial (Satmawara) following the passing of Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendira Debyavati.

In Bangkok, Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and his spouse presided over a merit-making ceremony at Government House. The event included Buddhist rites led by Somdet Phra Phutthachan, with cabinet members and government officials in attendance to offer alms and participate in prayers.

Regional ceremonies were also conducted, including a service in Pathum Thani at Wat Phra Dhammakaya, where local officials and the monastic community gathered for meditation and chanting. In Chiang Mai, the Hang Dong district administration and local clergy held a memorial at the North-Chiang Mai University convention center, attended by provincial officials and members of the public to honor the Princess's contributions to the nation.
