Brazil's Anvisa bans unregistered weight‑loss drugs, flags falsified Nebido lot and restricts Acanne cannabis products
On 6 August 2026 the Brazilian health regulator Anvisa issued Resolution 3.055/2026, published in the Diário Oficial da União. The resolution prohibited the commercialization, distribution, manufacturing, import, advertising and use of all lots of the weight‑loss products Ozempic Natural, Slim Turbo Premium and Slim CPS Dourado Gold because the products lacked registration and their manufacturers have no cadastro with Anvisa.
Anvisa also warned that lot KT0S5T4 of the testosterone medication Nebido is falsified; the manufacturer said it does not recognise the variable‑data imprint on the packaging. In the same act the agency restricted all cannabis products of the Associação Canábica Nordeste (Acanne) because the association lacks a valid operating authorization and its location is unknown. The measures were taken to protect public health in Brazil.
