Anwil Włocławek signs Deon Edwin amid injury concerns

Anwil Włocławek has signed 33-year-old Deon Edwin to address roster shortages caused by several player injuries. Edwin, a combo guard from the United States Virgin Islands, brings extensive European experience, having previously played in Finland, Ukraine, Macedonia, and Hungary.

Sports Director Leo De Rycke stated the club sought a versatile player capable of playing both the point guard and shooting guard positions to bolster the perimeter. Head coach Vedran Bosnić noted that the signing is a direct response to the team's current injury crisis, which hindered the squad during their pre-season training.

The team is currently managing health issues with several key players: Jack Forrest is undergoing extended recovery, Szymon Wójcik missed most recent friendlies, and Josiah Strong is undergoing medical examinations following a back injury.
