Anxious releases new single ‘Don’t Move’ ahead of North American tour

Connecticut-based emo outfit Anxious has released a new single titled ‘Don’t Move’ via Run For Cover Records. The track marks a progression toward widescreen alternative rock songwriting while retaining elements of hardcore and classic emo.

Vocalist Grady Allen described the song as an exploration of a failing relationship and the attempt to disengage from reality to reclaim a lost bond. Allen noted that the song’s bridge was inspired by the atmospheric qualities found in Jimmy Eat World’s ‘Clarity’ and the layered acoustic work of the band Armlock.

The release coincides with an upcoming North American tour supporting Citizen, which includes dates in cities such as Chicago, Toronto, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, and Seattle.
