Anyang Talent Development Foundation to host 2026 e-Sports Championship
The Anyang Talent Development Foundation has announced the ‘2026 Anyang e-Sports Championship,’ a competition specifically for middle and high school students in Anyang. The tournament has been officially approved by the Korea e-Sports Association, meeting all required operational and regulatory standards.
The competition will feature three major titles: League of Legends, Valorant, and Battlegrounds. Preliminary rounds are scheduled for October 3–4 at designated local PC cafes, while the finals will take place on October 13–14 at the Anyang Indoor Gymnasium auxiliary arena during the 11th Anyang Career Festival.
Teams composed of students from the same school that reach the quarterfinals or higher will earn ‘Youth Points.’ These points are used to calculate cumulative rankings for qualifying for national middle and high school e-sports competitions, providing local youth with a pathway to national-level play. The total prize pool is 4.5 million KRW, with 1 million KRW awarded to first-place winners in each category.
