Anytime Fitness reaches 1,300 locations in Japan

Anytime Fitness has reached a milestone of 1,300 locations in Japan. Since opening its first domestic branch in Chofu, Tokyo, in October 2010, the brand has expanded its network to cover all 47 prefectures as of April 2020.

To celebrate this achievement, the company is conducting a social media campaign titled ‘Actually, It’s Close! Anytime Fitness Compatibility Diagnosis.’ Participants can use a special website to measure the distance and walking time to their nearest gym and share the results on X (formerly Twitter) for a chance to win Amazon gift cards.

The brand, managed by Fast Fitness Japan, reported surpassing 1.2 million members in July 2026. The expansion continues with the recent opening of the Tokaichiba branch in Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, on October 19, 2026.
