Anzio and Nettuno bakeries seized in fraudulent bankruptcy probe

Authorities in Italy have seized the assets of three bakeries located in Anzio and Nettuno following an investigation into alleged fraudulent bankruptcy. The Guardia di Finanza and the Court of Velletri conducted the investigation into a limited liability company involved in the production and sale of baked goods.

Investigators allege that the company's assets were diverted from creditors by being transferred to a new individual business registered in the name of the administrator's daughter. Furthermore, the investigation noted a failure to produce mandatory accounting records, which prevented a full reconstruction of the company's financial status.

As a result, the administrator and his daughter have been reported for both patrimonial and documentary fraudulent bankruptcy. To ensure business continuity and protect jobs, an agreement was reached allowing the shops to remain open under the seizure, provided a monthly fee of 1,500 euros is paid.
