Anzio officials convene meeting to address historic center commercial crisis

The municipality of Anzio has scheduled a meeting for October 22 at Villa Sarsina to address the ongoing commercial crisis in the city's historic center. Mayor Aurelio Lo Fazio and Councilor for Productive Activities Valentina Corrado have invited local operators, trade associations, and regional representatives to participate in the discussion.

The meeting aims to analyze the current state of local commerce and gather proposals to assist in the development of a new commercial plan for the city. Key topics of discussion include the phenomenon of commercial desertification in the historic center, the presence of vacant storefronts, the relationship between property owners and operators, and methods to increase the area's attractiveness and competitiveness.

Additionally, the administration will present operational guidelines regarding requests for outdoor seating (dehors) and equipped external areas, outlining the necessary procedures for compliance.
