AO REA presents new squad and jersey in Rethymno

AO REA, the women's football club representing Rethymno in the A' Ethniki, has officially launched its new season through a public presentation and a preparatory friendly match.

The club held a celebratory event at Agnostos Stratiotis Square in Rethymno to introduce the squad and technical staff, led by Gianna Douka, to the local community. The event included the unveiling of the new official jersey, sponsored by AVIN (a Motor Oil Group company). Local officials and community members attended the presentation.

As part of its preseason preparations, AO REA played its first friendly match against the Aris Rethymno U19 men's team at the Misirion stadium. Although Aris U19 won the match 2-0, the game served as a practical training session for the AO REA players to integrate new transfers and refine team coordination following two weeks of intensive training.
