Aoashi Season 2 announces October premiere and theme songs

The second season of the soccer anime ‘Aoashi’ is scheduled to premiere on October 4. A new promotional video has been released, showcasing the protagonist Ashito Aoi’s progression into the Tokyo City Esperion A Team and his subsequent challenges in a more demanding professional environment.

Music for the new season includes the opening theme ‘Fortress Defense’ by the rock band 10-FEET and the ending theme ‘Triangle’ by singer-songwriter Ai Higuchi. Both artists composed their tracks specifically for the series.

Production details for the second season have also shifted. While the first season was produced by Production I. G., the new installment will be animated by TMS Entertainment under the direction of Kazuki Yokoyama. Masahiro Yokotani remains responsible for series composition, and Masaru Yokoyama returns to handle the music.
