Aobasaka46 audition seminars held by Sakamichi group members

Seminars were held in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka for applicants of the Aobasaka46 audition. This new group will consist of members selected through this joint audition process, who will perform for one year before being assigned to one of the three existing Sakamichi groups: Nogizaka46, Sakurazaka46, or Hinatazaka46. This marks the first time in eight years that the three groups have conducted a joint audition.

Active members from the Sakamichi groups attended the seminars to share their personal experiences and offer advice. Nogizaka46 members Haruka Kaki and Teresa Ikeda, Sakurazaka46 members Hikaru Morita and Mio Matono, and Hinatazaka46 members Hinano Kamimura and Manami Ono spoke to the applicants. The members shared stories regarding their own audition anxieties, such as moving to Tokyo or balancing studies with idol activities, and offered encouragement to the new candidates.

A major announcement regarding the Aobasaka46 audition is scheduled to be released via YouTube on September 24 at 20:00.
