Aobazaka46 audition theme song ‘Audition’ released with music video

The theme song ‘Audition’ for the upcoming group Aobazaka46 has been released digitally, accompanied by the launch of its music video. The track features a special ‘Sakamichi Selection’ consisting of 15 members—five each from Nogizaka46, Sakurazaka46, and Hinatazaka46.

Nagomi Inoue serves as the center for the group, with Nao Komatsu and Hikaru Morita positioned at the front. The music video, directed by Ryohei Shingu with choreography by Seishiro, utilizes a spotlight motif to depict the realities of the audition process, including the light and shadow of being an idol.

Aobazaka46 is a new project where members selected through the current audition will perform for approximately one year before being assigned to the 7th generation of Nogizaka46, the 5th generation of Sakurazaka46, or the 6th generation of Hinatazaka46. The audition period remains open until October 8, 2026.
