AOC and Gigabyte announce new Penta-Tandem QD-OLED gaming monitors
AOC and Gigabyte have announced new high-end gaming monitors featuring advanced Penta-Tandem QD-OLED panel technology. This five-layer stack is designed to enhance brightness, durability, and efficiency compared to standard OLED panels.
AOC has introduced the AG326UZD, a 31.5-inch 4K monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate. It features a 300-nit SDR brightness and a peak HDR brightness of 1,000 nits at 3% APL. The monitor includes DisplayPort 2.1 with UHBR20 signaling, two HDMI 2.1 inputs, and USB-C with 65W charging. It utilizes a Dark Shield Black AGLR surface to minimize ambient light reflections.
Gigabyte is launching the GO27Q32, a 27-inch QHD monitor offering a 320Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms GTG response time. The display utilizes Samsung Display's Penta Tandem architecture and features an ObsidianShield anti-reflective coating. It boasts a peak HDR brightness of 1,300 nits and covers 99.5% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Gigabyte also provides a three-year burn-in warranty and an AI OLED Care system to mitigate panel aging.
