AOC launches QD-OLED gaming monitor in the Middle East

AOC has announced the launch of its Q27G40ZDF gaming monitor in the Middle East. The 26.5-inch display utilizes QD-OLED technology, designed specifically for esports athletes and gaming enthusiasts seeking high speed and color accuracy.

The monitor features a 240Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms (GtG) response time. It supports Adaptive-Sync to reduce image tearing and covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut with HDR10 support, providing deeper blacks and more vibrant colors than traditional IPS or VA panels.

To manage heat without the noise of a fan, AOC implemented a cooling system using a graphene layer and a dedicated heat sink. For gaming utility, the device includes features such as DialPoint for customizable crosshairs, Sniper Scope mode, and Dark Boost for improved visibility in dark areas. Eye comfort is addressed through Flicker-Free technology and blue light reduction. Connectivity options include one HDMI 2.0 port and one DisplayPort 1.4 port, supporting a resolution of 2560 x 1440.
