Aogiri High School announces management restructure and event cancellation
viviON Inc. has announced a significant restructuring of the management system for the VTuber group ‘Aogiri High School’ following recent operational issues. These issues included the last-minute postponement of a live event for member Chiyoura Chomi and errors in managing the group’s official X account.
As part of the new strategy, the group will shift its focus toward supporting the individual activities and personal channels of its members. Resources previously dedicated to the official YouTube channel will be redirected to assist members with planning, production, sales, and rights management. While group-wide activities will continue, the official YouTube channel will resume posting in October with a reduced frequency, focusing on content that specifically requires multiple members.
Additionally, the music festival originally scheduled for late December 2026 has been canceled. Management stated they could not guarantee a performance that would meet audience expectations under the current circumstances. To address online harassment and misinformation, the company also plans to establish a committee to combat slander.
