Aomori athletes receive data-driven conditioning support
Euphoria Inc., Otsuka Pharmaceutical, and the Aomori Prefecture Competitive Performance Improvement Headquarters have launched a data-driven conditioning support initiative for athletes preparing for the 80th National Sports Festival in October 2026.
The program utilizes the ‘ONE TAP SPORTS’ data management system to provide comprehensive support through sports science specialists in psychology, nutrition, and training. The initiative has expanded to include junior-level athletes to track development pathways from youth to adulthood.
To optimize performance during the final preparation phase, the program has introduced two key technologies: Oura Ring wearable devices to monitor sleep, fatigue, and heart rate variability, and Vivoo nutrition monitoring services to track hydration and dietary trends. These data points are integrated into a centralized athlete database to allow for objective, real-time adjustments to training and recovery.
