Aomori Michinoku, Iwate, and Akita Banks discuss business integration

Aomori Michinoku Bank, Iwate Bank, and Akita Bank have entered discussions regarding a business integration. The three regional banks aim to complete the integration by April 2028, with plans to establish a headquarters in Morioka City.

The integration will utilize a holding company structure rather than a direct merger. Currently, there are no plans to integrate IT systems, and the banks have stated that services for customers and business partners will remain unchanged for the time being.
