AORN Santobono Pausilipon IRCCS adopts single-cell analysis technology

AORN Santobono Pausilipon IRCCS has become the first Italian hospital to implement a next-generation platform for multimodal single-cell analysis. This advanced technology allows researchers to study the biological characteristics of individual cells with unprecedented detail by integrating high-dimensional cytometry and real-time cellular imaging.

The acquisition aims to accelerate research in pediatric oncology, immunological diseases of childhood, and translational biology. Peppino Mirabelli, the new director of Clinical Pathology, stated that the investment is intended to transform research results into concrete benefits for young patients by providing more targeted diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
