Aosta students to protest school system reforms

Students in Aosta are organizing a protest titled “Noi siamo la differenza” (We are the difference) to demand reforms to the school system. The demonstration is scheduled for Saturday, October 17, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM in Piazza Deffeyes, located beneath the regional palace.

Organized by a local student committee with support from BDS Valle d’Aosta and Fridays for Future VdA, the protest aligns with broader student mobilizations occurring across Italy. The organizers aim to highlight issues regarding the mental health of students, deteriorating school infrastructure, lack of heating, and inadequate hygiene products. The movement expresses a sense of being ignored by authorities regarding these structural and institutional conditions.
