AOTG Sport faces dissolution threat over overdue accounts
AOTG Sport, the company behind the controversial R360 all-star rugby startup, has been issued a strike-off notice by Companies House. The company has been given a two-month ultimatum to submit overdue financial accounts or face dissolution.
Representatives for AOTG Sport have dismissed the notice, attributing the delay to an accounting error that they expect to resolve by early next week. Despite the regulatory pressure, organizers maintain that the R360 global series remains on track for its rescheduled 2028 launch.
The R360 project, co-led by Mike Tindall and Stuart Hooper, was originally intended to launch in 2026 but was postponed following opposition from several Test nations and the British and Irish Lions. The series aims to feature a five-month circuit of men’s and women’s teams competing in major global venues.
