Aoyama Gosho Manga Museum reveals new logo and design for 2027 relocation

Hokuei Town has announced the new logo, main illustration, and exterior design for the relocated and renovated ‘Aoyama Gosho Manga Museum’. Scheduled to reopen in the spring of 2027, the museum will move approximately 700 meters south to a new facility to address aging infrastructure and limited exhibition space.

The new logo features an illustration of manga artist Gosho Aoyama, while the main illustration is a newly drawn piece by Aoyama himself. It depicts the creator alongside protagonists from his most famous works: Conan Edogawa from ‘Detective Conan’, Kaito Kid from ‘Magic Kaito’, and Tetsuba from ‘YAIBA’. These visuals will be used for promotional materials, museum decorations, and merchandise.

The new building’s exterior will utilize a design motif inspired by manga panels. Additionally, a large symbol object featuring the English name ‘AOYAMA GOSHO MANGA MUSEUM’ will be installed at the entrance to serve as a landmark and photo spot for visitors.
