AP Chambers urges Andhra Pradesh CM to release ₹5,000 crore in incentives

The Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry Federation (AP Chambers) has appealed to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to expedite the release of approximately ₹5,000 crore in pending incentives. These funds are owed to eligible micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and food processing units across the state.

While roughly ₹1,000 crore was released last year, the remaining outstanding amount has placed significant pressure on the working capital of local enterprises. AP Chambers president P. Bhaskara Rao noted that these delays hinder the ability of businesses to service loans, meet operational expenses, and sustain employment.

The industry body requested that the government clear all eligible claims through a single, consolidated exercise by the first week of November. Additionally, the Chamber called for the establishment of a transparent, time-bound mechanism to process future claims and prevent the accumulation of arrears. Clearing these dues is seen as a critical step to signal government commitment to industrial policy ahead of the CII Partnership Summit in Visakhapatnam on November 12 and 13.
