AP Cup Pickleball Tournament Boosts Sport in Penang, Malaysia

The AP Cup pickleball tournament was staged at Pickle Land in Bayan Baru, Penang, drawing participants ranging from seasoned competitors to newcomers. The event featured two divisions – an open category and a lower‑DUPR bracket – with cash awards for the top teams in each.

Organisers AP33, an iGaming platform, and Sports We Play, a Malaysian digital sports company, complemented the competition with a giveaway totalling around MYR 10,000 in paddles, branded items and collectibles. Local social‑media influencers attended and streamed live, expanding the tournament’s reach beyond the venue.
