Apă Ilfov completes water infrastructure project for Tunari and Balotești

Apă Ilfov has completed and commissioned a significant water supply infrastructure investment for the localities of Tunari and Balotești. The new pipeline spans over 17.5 km, starting from a connection point with Apa Nova in Otopeni.

The project provides a surplus of over 120 m³ of potable water per hour, which is particularly critical during periods of high temperatures and increased consumption. The system includes a pressure lifting station in Tunari equipped with two state-of-the-art 45 kW pumps, each with a capacity of 125 m³/hour.

The investment, totaling approximately 14 million lei (excluding VAT), features an automated system integrated into SCADA, allowing for real-time remote monitoring of flow and pressure parameters.
