APA Corp Shares Cut by South Dakota Council, Grown by Quantinno Capital

The South Dakota Investment Council reduced its stake in APA Corporation during the first quarter, selling 210,124 shares and trimming its holding by 26 %. After the sale it owned 597,035 shares, representing about 0.17 % of the company and valued at roughly $25.3 million. In the same period, Quantinno Capital Management LP increased its position by 5.1 %, purchasing an additional 39,375 shares to bring its total to 809,126 shares, or about 0.23 % of APA and worth roughly $34.3 million.

Institutional investors collectively own 83.01 % of APA’s outstanding stock. The company’s market capitalization stands at about $12.84 billion, with the share price around $36.33 at the start of the quarter and a 12‑month price range of $17.86 to $45.66. APA reports a debt‑to‑equity ratio of 0.58 and a P/E ratio of 8.47.
