Apa: Police and special forces intervene in violent nine-person brawl

A violent altercation involving at least nine individuals occurred on August 13 in the locality of Apa, Satu Mare County. The conflict, which reportedly began spontaneously on Mănăstirii Street, escalated into a large-scale fight involving men and women aged between 19 and 51.

Two young men, aged 21 and 22, sustained injuries during the incident and were transported to a hospital for medical treatment. Due to the scale and severity of the disturbance, the Special Actions Service (SAS) from Satu Mare was deployed to the scene to assist police. Authorities have opened a criminal case to determine the exact cause of the conflict and the specific roles played by those involved.
