APAC personal care trends to be featured at in-cosmetics Asia 2026

The in-cosmetics Asia event, scheduled for November 3-5, 2026, at BITEC in Bangkok, will focus on evolving personal care trends and ingredient technologies across the Asia-Pacific region. The event features over 770 exhibitors and sessions led by organizations such as Euromonitor International and Kline to examine multifunctional ingredients and changing consumer preferences.

A new report titled ‘Rooted in Tradition’, produced by Personal Care Magazine, in-cosmetics Asia, and Covalo, highlights ten heritage ingredients gaining momentum in the APAC beauty industry. Sake ferment is a leading interest for product developers, while rice-based skincare is projected to grow by $3 billion between 2026 and 2030. Coconut oil also remains a key ingredient, supported by sustainability certifications in the Philippines and Indonesia.

Other emerging actives identified include propanediol, PDRN, and marine collagen. The industry is increasingly prioritizing sourcing transparency, sustainability, and science-backed performance for both traditional botanicals and newer plant or marine-derived categories.
