APAE organizations hold community events and charity campaigns in Brazil

Various branches of the Association of Parents and Friends of the Exceptional (APAE) in Brazil are conducting community-focused initiatives. In Rio Branco, the institution has launched its 2026 Christmas campaign, titled ‘Adote um Aluno’ (Adopt a Student). Running from October 28 to November 27, the campaign encourages the public to donate panettones to bring joy to students during the holiday season.

In Novo Hamburgo, the 27th edition of the ‘Balada Apae NH’ brought together approximately 500 participants from several municipalities within the 11th Regional Council of Apaes. The event, held at UClub, provided a social environment for individuals with intellectual and multiple disabilities to engage in leisure activities, including musical performances by local DJs.
