APAE Pato Branco to receive R$ 8.4 million for new headquarters

The Association of Parents and Friends of the Exceptional (APAE) in Pato Branco will receive a new headquarters funded by R$ 8,421,939.15 from the State Government through the Secretariat of Cities (SECID).

The new complex is planned for the São Roque neighborhood, adjacent to the existing APAE Zilda Arns unit. The project aims to consolidate two current units—APAE Zilda Arns and APAE Carlos Almeida—into a single facility to accommodate a growing number of students and long-term residents.

According to APAE President Neri Santos de Vargas, the expanded infrastructure is essential for offering specialized services that are currently unavailable due to space constraints, such as hydrotherapy.
