Aparecida advances urban infrastructure and paving projects

The City Hall of Aparecida is advancing urban infrastructure projects through the ‘Pra Frente Aparecida’ Program. The initiative, which began in May, involves paving, drainage, and earthmoving works across 15 neighborhoods, including Buriti Sereno, Vila Romana, and Jardim Cristal.

Mayor Leandro Vilela stated that the works are being conducted in partnership with the Government of Goiás, utilizing funds from a BRICS Bank loan. The program represents a total investment of R$ 301.1 million and aims to recover 353 kilometers of streets and avenues across 167 neighborhoods. Current efforts include installing rainwater galleries, curbs, and applying asphalt to improve mobility and prevent issues during the rainy season.
