Aparecida de Goiânia announces major paving project and education exam

The municipality of Aparecida de Goiânia has announced two major administrative initiatives. First, the city has opened a bidding process for over R$ 500 million to pave 47 neighborhoods. This infrastructure project, funded by an US$ 80 million loan from the New Development Bank (NDB), aims to provide paving, drainage, and traffic signaling to benefit approximately 120,000 residents.

Second, the city is launching a large-scale public civil service exam for the education sector. The exam, organized by Instituto Verbena/UFG, offers 2,956 immediate vacancies and 14,780 positions for a reserve list. The roles include area teachers, pedagogical teachers, administrative assistants, and educational agents. Applications are scheduled to run from November 9 to December 9, 2026, with objective exams expected to take place in late January 2027.
