Aparecida de Goiânia completes Colinas de Homero Bridge
The city of Aparecida de Goiânia has completed the construction of the Colinas de Homero Bridge over the Santo Antônio stream. The project connects the Colinas de Homero and Veiga Jardim III neighborhoods, significantly improving local mobility by reducing travel time between the areas from approximately 30 minutes to 5 minutes.
The total investment for the 200-meter intervention was approximately R$ 4 million. This funding was composed of R$ 3 million from the Government of Goiás via the Goiana Agency for Infrastructure and Transport (Goinfra) and a R$ 1 million contribution from the municipality.
The bridge structure measures 24 meters in length and 13 meters in width, utilizing pre-molded beams. The project also included 1,596 m² of pavement, 880 m² of sidewalks, gabion containment, and LED lighting. The new route provides faster access to Avenida Uirapuru, Avenida das Nações, GO-040, and the Anel Viário.
