Aparecida de Goiânia expands road resurfacing to 15 neighborhoods
The city of Aparecida de Goiânia has expanded its road resurfacing program, adding 15 neighborhoods to the current work schedule. This initiative is part of the ‘Pra Frente Aparecida’ investment program, which aims to revitalize asphalt across 167 neighborhoods, totaling 353 kilometers of roads.
The resurfacing efforts, coordinated by the Municipal Infrastructure Secretariat (Seinfra), include various techniques such as micro-coating or milling followed by the application of a new asphalt layer using high-resistance CBUQ asphalt. These preventive works are being conducted during the dry season to improve urban mobility and prevent the formation of potholes during the rainy period.
The targeted neighborhoods include Village Garavelo, Jardim Imperial, Vila Alzira, Parque Rio das Pedras, Jardim Tropical, Jardim Rosa do Sul, Residencial Solar Central Park, Jardim Mont Serrat, Jardim Alto Paraíso, Setor Colonial Sul, Parque Hayala, Jardim Belo Horizonte Acréscimo II, Residencial Brasicon I, Parque Primavera, Vila Santo Antônio, and Vila Brasília.
