Aparecida de Goiânia launches Dianot agroindustrial district

The Norberto Teixeira Agroindustrial District (Dianot) in Aparecida de Goiânia is beginning its implementation phase. The project, an initiative by the Government of Goiás, repurposes land previously occupied by a prison complex to foster economic development.

In its first stage, the district will host 67 selected companies, with private investments expected to exceed R$ 1 billion. The project aims to generate more than 20,000 direct and indirect jobs. The district is designed to eventually accommodate over 200 companies across an area exceeding 2 million square meters.

Construction of the first industrial units is expected to begin in 2026. Luiz Antônio Rosa, president of the Economic Development Company of Goiás (Codego), noted that high demand allowed the number of companies in this initial phase to increase from an original plan of 32 to 67.
