Aparecida de Goiânia projects R$ 3.6 billion budget for 2027

The municipality of Aparecida de Goiânia has begun discussions for its 2027 Annual Budget Law (LOA), with projected revenues and expenditures reaching approximately R$ 3.6 billion. This represents an increase from the R$ 3.2 billion projected for the current year, a growth driven largely by capital revenues from recently contracted international loans.

Finance Secretary Carlos Eduardo de Paula Rodrigues stated that a primary goal for 2027 is to fund a robust infrastructure plan aimed at paving all inhabited streets that currently lack asphalt. The investment program is expected to benefit 47 neighborhoods and will require at least nine large-scale public biddings to execute.

Planned projects include nine engineering works, specifically highlighting two new viaducts over the BR-153—one in the central region and another at the border with Goiânia near Vila Bela Vista. The budget also accounts for the construction of new schools and ensures compliance with constitutional spending requirements for health and education.
