Brazil public service exams launched across various sectors

Various municipal, state, and federal agencies across Brazil are conducting or preparing for new public service examinations (concursos públicos) to fill diverse professional roles.

In Piauí, the Military Police (PMPI) has opened applications for 1,001 positions, including 501 immediate vacancies for soldiers and one chaplain role. In Bahia, the Military Police and Fire Department are recruiting 40 health professionals, such as doctors and dentists, with salaries reaching approximately R$ 9,973.34. Manaus Previdência is also opening applications for 17 positions for analysts and technicians.

Educational sectors are seeing significant movement. The State of São Paulo has authorized a new teacher recruitment drive to reduce reliance on temporary contracts, and the municipality of Aparecida de Goiânia is progressing with the hiring of an examining board for nearly 3,000 vacancies. In Embu das Artes, 77 education-related positions are available.

At the federal level, the IBGE is conducting a selection process for 42 temporary positions in Teresina, with nearly 90,000 candidates nationwide participating in exams for census-related roles. Additionally, Nova Iguaçu is reorganizing its technology department to facilitate a new support career exam.
