Aparecida de Goiânia's Aparecida é Show draws 30,000 attendees at opening night
The 17th edition of Aparecida é Show began on Thursday, August 6, 2026, in Aparecida de Goiânia, Brazil. Organized by the municipal government in partnership with the Goiás state government, the free festival opened in the parking lot of the Cidade Administrativa Maguito Vilela and attracted roughly 30,000 people.
Mayor Leandro Vilela and first lady Lana Bezerra attended the inauguration. Entry was granted in exchange for a donation of one kilogram of non‑perishable food or pet food, supporting vulnerable families and the municipal animal‑protection program. Performers on the first night included singers Mariana Fagundes, Hugo Vitti and Nattan, with a lineup of additional national and local artists scheduled through Sunday.
The event, running until Sunday, August 9, aims to provide leisure and community gathering opportunities while channeling donations to social assistance and animal welfare initiatives.
