Aparecidinha Municipal Civil Guard base begins 24-hour service

The Municipal Civil Guard (GCM) community base in the Aparecidinha neighborhood has transitioned to 24-hour service. To maintain continuous operations, teams will work in 12-hour shifts, with two officers stationed at the base and two additional officers patrolling in a vehicle per shift. A second vehicle will also be available to support preventive actions and regional demands.

Following the approval of a municipal bill, the facility has been named the ‘Marcos Antonio de Campos’ Community Base. The name honors a former officer who served the corporation for 25 years starting in 1992. This marks the sixth active community base for the GCM, joining existing units in Parque das Águas, Parque dos Espanhóis, Wanel Ville, Éden, and Brigadeiro Tobias.
