Apatin farm fire destroys 55 years of agricultural work

A major fire in Apatin has devastated the Pinćir family farm, destroying over 55 years of agricultural work. The blaze consumed 44 greenhouses covering more than one hectare, along with various buildings, tractors, machinery, irrigation systems, and essential tools.

Initial damage estimates are approximately 200,000 euros. The fire spread rapidly due to dry vegetation, plastic materials, and strong winds. Local community members have already begun organizing efforts to assist the family in rebuilding their farm.
