APC appoints new mobilization directors for 2027 campaign

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council has announced key appointments as part of its preparations for the 2027 general elections in Nigeria.

Bishop Prof. Stephen Adegbite, the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC), has been appointed as the Director of Mobilization for Faith-Based (Christians). The NCPC expressed support for the appointment, noting Adegbite’s leadership roles within the Christian Association of Nigeria and his work in transforming Christian pilgrimage in the country.

Additionally, Dr. Mary Idele, the National Women Leader of the APC, has been named Secretary of the Women Mobilisation Directorate. Idele pledged to lead nationwide grassroots efforts to engage Nigerian women and strengthen their participation in the electoral process to support President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
