APC backs reviewed Ondo candidate list as supporters reaffirm Tinubu’s 2027 re‑election push
The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee approved a revised list of candidates for the 2027 National Assembly elections in Ondo State, overturning original primary winners in three senatorial and nine federal constituencies and removing eight initially declared winners. The Grassroots Movement for Tinubu (GMT) condemned protests by Ondo Commissioner for Women Affairs Seun Osamaye, urged Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to enforce party discipline, and called on party members to accept the NWC’s decision. In a separate statement, the BTO for PBAT ’27 support group praised the APC leadership, highlighted President Bola Tinubu’s role in resolving internal disputes, and pledged intensified grassroots mobilisation to secure Tinubu’s re‑election in 2027. Both groups emphasized unity, collective interest, and the party’s commitment to peace and stability ahead of the upcoming elections.
