APC Candidate Bola Oyebamiji Leads Campaign for Osun Governorship Election

Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer and former Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority, is mounting an intensive grassroots campaign ahead of the 2026 Osun State governorship election. His tour has targeted market groups, artisans, religious and traditional leaders, and professional associations, promoting an "Osun Prosperity Agenda" focused on infrastructure, job creation, education, healthcare and agricultural development.

Oyebamiji has also warned against any voter intimidation, urging residents to collect and safeguard their Permanent Voter Cards and pledging that security forces will act against any harassment. He promised an inclusive administration that would address rural and urban needs, emphasizing agriculture, health, education and commerce if elected. The election is scheduled for mid‑August 2026, with incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke seeking re‑election on the Accord platform.
