APC candidates in Nigeria pledge legislative priorities for 2027

All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates for the 2027 general elections in Nigeria have outlined their legislative goals and campaign commitments.

In Abuja, Representative Eugene Dibiagwu of the Ohaji-Egbema/Oguta/Oru West Federal Constituency expressed his intention to seek re-election. During a meeting with the Izombe Central Union, Dibiagwu stated that his return to the House of Representatives would be a call for more “dividends of democracy” for his constituents.

In Benin City, Dr. Paddy Iyamu, the APC candidate for the Oredo Federal Constituency, pledged to sponsor legislation aimed at protecting vulnerable populations and promoting good governance. The former Edo State Commissioner for Education identified education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, and youth development as his primary legislative priorities. Iyamu cited his previous experience in state administration as a foundation for attracting federal projects to his constituency.
