APC delegates injured in vehicle collision in Lafia

Several members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Benue State sustained injuries following a head-on collision in Lafia, Nasarawa State. The accident occurred on a Saturday morning involving vehicles transporting supporters to a North Central mega rally.

While the exact number of injured individuals has not been officially confirmed, victims were reportedly taken to hospitals in Lafia for medical treatment. Dan-Morgan Ihomun, Publicity Secretary of the Austin Agada faction of the Benue APC, confirmed that no lives were lost in the crash. Some reports indicated the injured were loyalists of George Akume.

This incident follows a similar fatal accident in March 2026, where three APC delegates from Benue State died in a crash while traveling to a party congress in Lafia.
