Adamawa political mobilization intensifies ahead of 2027 elections
Political activities are accelerating in Adamawa State as various factions mobilize for the 2027 general elections. The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, founded by High Chief Government Ekpemupolo (Tompolo), has officially launched its activities in the state. To support grassroots mobilization, the movement donated 35 vehicles to facilitate community outreach across local government areas.
During the launch in Yola, Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri declared that “Adamawa is Asiwaju state,” signaling his support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid. The movement’s National Coordinator, Sunday Asuku, emphasized the importance of direct engagement with citizens to communicate the administration’s achievements.
Simultaneously, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa has strengthened its internal structure. The party has appointed Mohammed Salihu (Abba Girei) as Assistant Director for Adamawa Central to bolster its grassroots presence. The APC governorship candidate, Ahmed Aminu, also expressed support for the President’s economic reforms and the Governor’s development efforts in the state.
