APEC Photo Contest 2026 announces 10 finalists

The APEC Secretariat has shortlisted ten photographs from over 1,700 entries for the APEC Photo Contest 2026. The finalists aim to reflect the theme ‘Building an Asia-Pacific Community to Prosper Together,’ focusing on regional priorities such as innovation, openness, and cooperation.

Winners will be announced in November during APEC Economic Leaders’ Week in Shenzhen, China. An international judging panel will select the top three winners, with prizes of SGD 2,500, SGD 2,000, and SGD 1,500 respectively. Additionally, the public can vote for a Popular Choice Award and an Influencer Award, both carrying a prize of SGD 1,000.

Eduardo Pedrosa, Executive Director of the APEC Secretariat, noted that the selected images capture critical realities of life across the Asia-Pacific, illustrating how trade influences livelihoods and well-being beyond mere economic growth.
