Apeldoorn carpool parking lot vehicle fire

A vehicle was completely destroyed by fire at a carpool parking area near the A1 highway and Kayersdijk in Apeldoorn on Saturday morning, September 5.

The driver noticed smoke while driving and pulled the vehicle into the carpool area to avoid obstructing traffic. Shortly after stopping, the car was engulfed in flames. The fire was visible from a significant distance in the surrounding area.

Firefighters arrived to extinguish the blaze, but the vehicle was a total loss. A recovery service removed the damaged car from the scene. No injuries were reported, as the driver was able to exit the vehicle before the fire spread. The cause of the fire remains unknown.
