Apex Legends and Street Fighter 6 announce crossover event

Apex Legends and Street Fighter 6 are launching a crossover collaboration starting September 22. The event will introduce various cosmetic items and gameplay changes to the battle royale title.

Players can acquire character skins that transform Legends into Street Fighter icons, including Sparrow as Ryu, Alter as Chun-Li, Bangalore as Elena, Mirage as Luke, Gibraltar as Akuma, Wattson as Cammy, Caustic as Blanka, and Pathfinder as Dhalsim. The update also features weapon skins and a universal melee attack that allows players to perform a Hadoken.

The Olympus map will undergo a visual overhaul, featuring elements such as Luke’s gym, arcade cabinets, and Blanka-themed decorations. A limited-time mode called Jolly will introduce a Fighter Form, which temporarily shifts the perspective from first-person to third-person and grants unique combat abilities based on Street Fighter fighting styles. The event concludes with a Showdown phase, a final combat encounter where teams use special moves to secure victory.
