Apex Legends announces Ascensão da Caçada event

Electronic Arts and Respawn have announced the ‘Ascensão da Caçada’ (Ascension Hunt) event for Apex Legends, scheduled to run from August 18 to September 8. The event introduces a new theme of ancestral powers and divinity to the game.

A central feature is the evolution of EVO perks within the ‘Coringa’ mode. Players can select enhancements upon landing—categorized into combat, survival, and mobility—and evolve them throughout the match by collecting EVO. Specific upgrades include non-aim dispersion reduction, increased critical hit chances, shield regeneration, life steal, and enhanced climbing or sliding capabilities.

The event also features a map rotation for the ‘Coringa’ mode, including King's Canyon, Electro District, and Broken Moon. Additionally, players can acquire 24 new cosmetic items, most notably a three-level prestige skin for the character Gibraltar called ‘Irmão Apex,’ which features golden armor with fire elements, a custom finisher, and an exclusive launch trail.
